Wood burning art, also known as pyrography, is a type of fine art that I just recently learned to master over the last two years. It has become one of my greatest creative obsessions. I love drawing and designing on wood surfaces. Especially a smooth basswood surface and seeing how amazing the contrast looks between the dark burn marks and the wood slab. 

I’m looking forward to perfecting my wood burning craft by creating more intricate and compelling pieces. I’m also looking forward to taking on more creative challenges that will ultimately help me become a greater artisan!
